The League of Women Voters is the most trusted not for profit organization in the United States. As such, League chapters like LWV of Miami-Dade County, are often called upon to convene community issue forums as well as host candidate debates.

Besides our local chapter, League also works at the state and national level to generate democratic conversation among members, educate the general public and policy makers on pressing issues, and take concerted action to bring about social change.

The League is firmly nonpartisan and neither supports nor opposes candidates for office. At the same time, it is a political organization and advocates on select policy issues after careful consideration by its members. The League does not endorse candidates or political parties.
