The League presents this event together with The Leonard and Jayne Abess Center for Ecosystem Science and PolicyCitizens' Climate Lobby, Miami Chapter (CCL) and Southern Alliance for Clean Energy.

CCL Group Leader, Greg Hamra will discuss climate advocacy, as well as demystify carbon pricing. Specifically, the event will address:

  • build our grassroots, advovacy army, a peaceful army We're already 60k worldwide, but need more in South Florida
  • help citizens step-up from mouse-click activism to "climate-warrior" level advocacy
  • learn to drive meaningful climate policy from your kitchen to Capitol Hill
  • understand why pricing carbon is called the "Holy Grail" of climate action by a consensus of scientists, economists, business icons, and a few prominent Republicans
